About
Lisivo turns a document into something you can listen to. Drop a file, press play. That is the whole product.

How it works
Your browser reads the document, strips out the parts that narrate badly (running headers, page numbers, table-of-contents dot leaders, table rows), reconnects words broken across lines, detects chapters from the document's own typography, and splits the result into sentence-aligned passages. Those passages are read aloud by the speech voices already installed on your device.
What it does well
Text-based documents in French and English — PDF, EPUB, Word, PowerPoint, OpenDocument, Markdown, plain text: books, essays, reports, papers, course notes, decks. Chapter navigation, playback speed, and a listening position that survives closing the tab.
What it does not do yet
- Handwriting stays out of reach: recognition is trained on printed pages.
- Complex tables and formulas are detected and skipped rather than narrated as nonsense.
- Locked-screen playback is limited: browsers suspend speech synthesis when a phone sleeps.
- Without an account, documents stay in the browser that imported them.
- Languages other than French and English are not tuned yet.
Limits
Up to 60 MB and 1500 pages per document. Documents are removed from your browser 7 days after import.
